The Cheshire East Youth mini football tournament was staged in honour of a visit by a team from our twin town of Dzierżoniów. This was a return trip after the visit to Poland last year by the Guy Harvey Youth Club. CANTA supported the visit and sponsored trips for 36 children to Chester Zoo and Lakeside Bowling to the tune of £580.
The pictures show the Mayor of East Cheshire Margaret Simon and the winning teams. Margaret said " They have made friendships which should last a lifetime. They can treasure their memories of their time in Poland and the time when their Polish friends came to them."
